Information for Reviewers
Throughout its history, Choice has provided definitive evaluations of materials for academic libraries. Choice is addressed to librarians and faculty members who select materials for academic libraries, especially for undergraduate research and teaching. Choice reviews compare the works with similar titles and recommend readership levels.
Choice reviewers are teaching faculty and librarians at academic institutions in the U.S. and Canada. Reviewers are selected for expertise and experience within their subject specialties, and for their ability to write clear, concise evaluations of materials. The quality of Choice depends on the strength of its reviewers.
If you are interested in reviewing for Choice, please visit http://www.ala.org/acrl/choice/ for further information, including the guidelines for reviewers and a link to the Choice Reviewer Web Site where you may apply online.
Visit Choice at the ALA Conference, booth #432, in Chicago, June 28-July 2. Ask for a demo of Choice Reviews Online 3 (CRO3) and enter a raffle for an iPad Mini.
